I only knew Dave a relatively short amount of time through racing, but he has regularly been there helping and supporting us, a lovely man, kind, happy and helpful. He managed our Birkett team for several years, getting an unorganised bunch of us up to the podium. My thoughts with his family at this awful time. He is sorely missed by so many.

Dave was a valued colleague for many years, but for many more years he has been a close friend with whom I shared our love of motorsport. Dave helped me pursue my motorsport activities by giving his time freely, and was ever present to share our successes and failures in rallying and racing. He will be missed by many friends he made over the years at the race track. RiP. My thoughts are with Janet and Nick and family at this sad time.

A true character that has helped, shaped & developed my career for over 20 years, I'm glad to have shared some great memories with him over that period. 'Dava' will be sorely missed throughout the Fraud Investigation Service.
